First Light Awards Galore

We had an amazing time at the First Light awards held at the Odeon in Leicester Square. 4 projects we had worked on won awards. It was amazing to see all the young people from the projects collect their awards.
The digital documenters stormed the stage, the young people from the YMCA had gone from homelessness to standing on that massive stage in the West end in just a year, the children from quiet Stogursey Village had had their films judged by Terry Gilliam and the YPFC had their dedication and hard worked payed off.
It was a great day to be a part of and lots of thanks go to Somerset Film and Phoenix Digital for all their support.
I lost control all through the ceremony whooping and punching the air.
